3M™ Daylight Redirecting Film is an incredible achievement in film. Its fabrication utilizes a replication processs that creates a window film micro-mosaic. This mosaic construct when applied to the top portion of a window is designed to move, or re-direct, excess light incoming at the window and send it deeper into the building to increase daylight’s penetration. These microscopic structures are able to redirect as much as 80% of light up onto the ceiling, providing more natural light to areas further form windows, while minimizing window hot spots near the windows themselves.
